Tell us a little bit about your journey in the healthcare field?

I started my journey at Care Indeed about seven years ago. During this time, I have encountered many experiences that have helped me grow professionally and personally. I have learned to develop patience and empathy, which have been crucial in providing the best care for my clients. These experiences have taught me to think critically and always consider the well-being of the client and myself when making decisions. Overall, my healthcare career journey has been rewarding and challenging. Still, I am grateful for the opportunities it has provided me to grow and develop professionally.

What drove you to become a professional caregiver?

My passion for helping others and nurturing and caring nature drove me to become a professional nurse. I have always felt a strong desire to make a difference in people's lives and to provide comfort and support to those in need. The thought of being able to make a positive impact on someone's life, even in small ways, brings me immense joy and fulfillment. Becoming a nurse was the perfect way to channel my passion for helping others and making a meaningful difference in the world. I am grateful for the opportunity to make a career out of doing what I love and for the chance to positively impact the lives of so many people.

What do you like most about your job?

As a nurse, what I like most about my job is the opportunity to interact with and care for people. Whether it's helping someone manage their pain, assisting with their recovery, or simply providing a listening ear and a comforting presence, I am constantly reminded of the importance of my role and the impact I have on others. Being a nurse is more than just a job to me; it's a calling. 

What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and cleaning my house. These activities allow me to unwind and relax after a busy day at work. Cooking is a creative outlet, and I love experimenting with new recipes and ingredients.

How would you describe Care Indeed's culture?

Care Indeed's culture is warmth and inclusiveness, much like being in the Philippines. You are greeted with friendly smiles and a welcoming atmosphere when you step through the doors. The staff at Care Indeed goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable and valued, creating a supportive and inclusive environment. What do you think about being the employee of the month?

Being recognized as the employee of the month is a great honor and a source of pride for me. It feels good to know that my hard work and dedication have been noticed and appreciated by my colleagues and superiors. Receiving this recognition motivates me to continue working hard and striving for excellence in everything I do. It is a testament to the effort I have put into my job and the impact I have had on those around me. Being the employee of the month is a validation of my efforts, and it makes me feel proud of what I have accomplished. It also inspires me to continue pushing myself and to strive for even greater success in the future.

Is there anything you want to share with your co-caregivers?

As a fellow caregiver, I would like to share some advice with my colleagues. My message to them would be to always keep in mind the reason why they chose to work in this field and to remember to love what they do. When you have a deep passion for what you do and a strong sense of purpose, it makes the challenges and difficulties of the job much easier to handle. It is important to keep this passion and purpose in mind, even on the toughest days, as it will help you stay motivated and committed to providing the best Care possible. So, I encourage all of my co-caregivers to hold onto their love for their work and remember why they chose to become a caregiver in the first place. This will help them stay focused and continue making a positive impact on the lives of those they care for.
