Learn everything you need to know about the VetAssist® Program and how your family and clients can qualify for benefits. VetAssist helps veterans, or their surviving spouses, apply for a little-known Department of Veterans Affairs benefit to pay for assistance with activities of daily living and in-home services. The exclusive VetAssist® Program helps veterans, or their surviving spouses, apply for a little-known Department of Veterans Affairs benefit to pay for assistance with activities of daily living. Mark Cohen will discuss how you can get home care started before the VA processes the claim and before the clients receive VA funds. VetAssist can provide a 0%, interest-free loan so home care can begin almost immediately. The loan can be reimbursed with funds from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) upon approval of the Aid and Attendance benefit. The program also furnishes continuing client service and on-going compliance monitoring, all with no out-of-pocket costs.
