Care Indeed provides a range of nursing services in the Bay Area, including LVNs, floor nurses (RNs), travel nurses for facilities, and worksite nurses for wellness services such as immunizations. We offer both per diem and direct placement services.

LPNs and LVNs provide basic medical care to ill, injured, or convalescing patients or to persons with disabilities. Their responsibilities are nearly identical, but their title depends on the state in which they work.

LPNs and LVNs monitor patients’ health, provide basic patient care and comfort, discuss care with patients, report patients’ status and concerns to registered nurses, advanced practice nurses, or physicians, and document patient care and maintain health records.

Yes, their responsibilities can vary. For example, in private homes, they may reinforce registered nurses’ instructions regarding how family members should care for a relative. In hospitals, they might collect samples for testing and do routine laboratory tests. In nursing and residential care facilities, they may feed patients who need help eating.

Yes, LPNs and LVNs typically work under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors. The extent to which they must be directly supervised is determined by the state. Some states allow experienced LPNs and LVNs to oversee other LPNs and LVNs or unlicensed medical staff.

RNs from Care Indeed are ready to work. They can perform various tasks, including assessing patients’ conditions, recording patients’ medical histories and symptoms, observing patients and recording the observations, administering patients’ medicines and treatments, set up plans for patients’ care or contributing information to existing plans, consulting and collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals, operate and monitor medical equipment, and patient teaching.
