This month reminded me of what Care Indeed truly stands for: showing up with compassion, staying committed through change, and never losing sight of the people whose lives are entrusted to us. We strengthened our focus on dementia care through additional caregiver training and more hands-on support for clients experiencing complex changes. Together with our Direct Care Supervisors, we visited clients, listened closely to families and caregivers, and worked to improve care in real time. Dementia care requires more than knowledge. It calls for patience, humility, flexibility, and a willingness to keep learning.

We also launched AlayaCare, our new scheduling and care management system, while saying goodbye to a platform that served us for more than a decade. That transition reminded us that some endings are necessary to make room for new beginnings. Behind the launch were months of preparation, testing, training, problem-solving, and many long nights. I was especially proud to watch our office and field teams support one another, adapt quickly, and continue prioritizing our clients throughout the process.

Welcoming additional nurses to our Operations team further strengthened Care Indeed’s commitment to clinically informed, competent, and compassionate care.

Speaking at the Los Altos Library and supporting family caregivers at Sunrise of Cupertino reminded me how deeply people need to feel heard, seen, and understood.

This month also brought me closer to care management and renewed my sense of purpose. Sitting with families searching for answers—and sometimes carrying years of unspoken pain—reminded me why this work matters.

We also proudly celebrated the graduation of our third CI-ION class. Seeing the graduates surrounded by proud families and friends made the occasion especially meaningful.

Care Indeed continues to grow, learn, and evolve. Leadership brings both joy and difficulty, but through every season, our commitment remains the same: to care deeply, lead honestly, and serve with heart.
