October was the month we had been waiting for—a month filled with surprises, blessings, and the first fruits of seeds we planted long ago.
This month marks the beginning of a new path for me personally and for Care Indeed. After years of dreaming and planning, we officially launched CI-ION, our nursing assistant school—a new chapter dedicated to shaping not only skilled CNAs, but also compassionate hearts who truly understand what it means to serve with pride and purpose.
I’ll be honest—I feel both nervous and excited. Teaching has always been a quiet calling of mine, and stepping into this new role feels like coming home. I want every student who walks into our classroom to not just learn a skill, but to discover the deeper meaning of caregiving—that it is both art and heart.
This October also marked a powerful season of renewal. We moved into our new office in Campbell, at 423 East Hamilton Avenue—a space that now holds our Care Indeed and CI-ION teams under one roof. We had it blessed as an act of gratitude and intention. My wish is that everyone who walks through those doors feels safe, inspired, and reminded that they belong to something meaningful.
There’s something about this month that feels like rebirth: letting go of old energies, limiting beliefs, and fears that no longer serve us. I’ve learned that growth often comes after discomfort, and that courage doesn’t mean having no fear, but walking forward despite it.
One of my favorite moments this month was our Quarterly Business Review, which also became our office blessing day. For the first time in a while, I had a chance to speak with all our office team members together—to reflect, to celebrate, and to share our vision. We talked about the lessons of the past year: the challenges that tested our endurance, the breakthroughs that reminded us of our purpose, and the road ahead.
What stood out most to me was this truth: Care Indeed has always been about people. Not just the clients we serve, but the caregivers, the nurses, the coordinators—the quiet heroes behind every phone call, visit, and schedule.
As we close October and enter the final chapter of the year, I stand in gratitude and anticipation.
We are not just growing—we are evolving, becoming clearer in our purpose and stronger in our unity.
Here’s to a season of bold beginnings, purposeful growth, and the collective spirit that defines Care Indeed.
